Two Storey rear extension of 18th century cottage in Flintham Conservation area in Nottinghamshire. The build includes demolition of the existing single storey conservatory and construction of the two storey extension to provide a family kitchen that will open up onto the large garden beyond, and a third bedroom at first floor.
The design of the external elevation is led by the desire to remain in keeping with the original cottage aesthetic. Brick, to match the existing rear elevation with a red Pantile roof.
